Literally trvth, just run an LTS kernel and stick with sane defaults for most packages/software.
Artix is mostly the same, granted the lack of soystemd does make some software rather annoying to work with.

deepin is a interesting distro because they make their own DE. It looks nice, never used it.

Definitely not an expert, but Arch does not use a WM/Compositor by default. Arch boots to console. User has (mostly) complete control, like a Gentoo without compiling and use-flags.

The most popular Chinese OS is Huawei's Harmony OS, but that's mostly used in phones. I've heard good things about it though.
For desktops its mostly Linux distros with their own desktop environment. I'm aware of both Kylin and Deepin.
There's Ubuntu versions for both Deepin and Kylin DE's if you want to play around with them.
Deepin DE is quite nice to use. Feels most similar to KDE to me at least.
I still personally prefer KDE but would recommend trying Deepin out at least once if you haven't yet.
A benefit of Deepin's desktop is that its based on Qt and not GTK. So removing an extra layer of trannyware.

They bought Commodore, but the current owner of the AmigaOS copyright is stubbornly refusing to let anyone buy it, even though he's just sitting on it and not developing anything. So basically, we could get the hardware, but the OS is still out-of-reach.

OpenKylin (Not the MSS/PLA Kylin - That is a Freebsd core not avalible to public) uses Systemd so that's an automatic no for me. Unfortunately, Kylin is based off Ubuntu and there's a approved Canonical distribution approved by the Chinese gov:
