Good thing I dropped ucuntu years ago. May I ask which distros are True&Honest KiwiFarms approved at this time?
Some of the troon autists here will probably shill Arch or NixOS, but generally from what I see:
-Debian/Devuan/Mint
-Artix
-Gentoo
-OpenMandriva
-Slackware

He still doesn't follow the law, he was caught speeding 2 months ago and had to pay $131, and go to a traffic school.

ATM debian 12 + sway as my DE
Thinking of switching over to arch + hyprland though, because the sway devs are pretty retarded and I keep running into problems with old ass packages on debian (I know, stability is what debian is for, and that's why I chose it as my first distro)

Based on his gap in contributions and the date given on the court documents, is it reasonable to assume he only got 3 years? the fuck?

The court documents also mention he took a plea deal, haven't been able to find any mention of the actual sentencing though
He was sentenced to 3 years, possibly out in 2, with an additional 5 years of probation afterwards:

The judge sentenced Jeremy to three years in state prison on each count of abuse, and ordered him to serve the sentences concurrently. He could be out on parole in two years. The judge also sentenced him to five years’ probation and said Jeremy would be designated a sex predator.
Lines up with the info here:

So Canonical replied to Lunduke. Long story short, Jeremy Bicha disclosed his criminal record upon hire. Canonical always knew he was a serial child molester.
I like Debian and Ubuntu and all, it works for all my usecases, "just-werks" and has good software support, but God, shit like this makes me want to main Arch with Hyprland. These dumb cunts insist so hard on making me not want to use their products. These are not "ohh, we've been so silly, we were just a bit naive"; this shit reeks obvious malintent. Ubuntu shoving Rust up my ass, shoving Wayland up my ass (I don't mind Wayland that much), shoving snaps up my ass and then also do all this political bullshit on top of it with Gnome. If there was a viable alternative to Ubuntu, with its looks, software support, feel, God would I switch, but I'm absolutely stuck, it's either Gnome or some Windows-looking dogshit. I hate it, I absolutely fucking hate it.

Arch if you've given up on society, relationships and friendships.

To just get something easy to use with a broad base of support, "Debian Mint" (LMDE) to avoid regular Linux Mint which is Ubuntu.

For a lot of academic and bleeding edge shit it may only have support in the Red Hat or Ubuntu ecosystems. Few years back AMD's ROCm had me going back to Ubuntu for a few months because it was literally the only thing that would work in my project and I felt quite raped.

Just use whatever you want my guy. Everyone’s not gonna have a consensus on distros or OS’es.

Shoot, there’s people here who believe TempleOS is the way to go. As people say, do as you please. (My suggestion is go with something simple like Mint or some thing.)

Not very many Hatters here? At this point I feel like the Linux world is “Fedora/CentOS/RHEL” and “everything else.”
I was going off distros Kiwis use and generally recommend, bonus points if they are "chud aligned" if you will.
Fedora is a nice distro that I use sometimes but people here would be screaming at that suggestion because of Red Hat.

Not many people want to do Red Hat's beta testing for them by using Fedora and support an organization that openly hates, fires, and will no longer hire "the white people".

If you're typing with brown hands, have at it.

Content-based shill time:

Imagine not using your enemy's technology to post about how they suck.

The Rust community hates us, but we're using it for Sneedforo. Arch uses Wayland, and I'm on Arch. The maintainer of Debian's PHP repositories (sury) literally blacklisted the entire IP range belonging to 1776 Hosting so I couldn't update my packages without a proxy, and neither could anyone else using my network as a customer. I still use PHP on Debian lmao.

Every line of open source code fuels the combine harvester of transgender tears and souls. As far as I'm concerned, Wayland is more complicit in being the Nazi club than XLIbre is.
This is the objectively correct way of using open source software.

If the author of a project hates me, but the project is good, I will still be using that project. But I will be building it from source, rather than depending on prebuilt release tarballs to protect myself from malware and be able to trust my setup, as even the most technically capable autists aren't willing to commit malware to release branches.

You can do this the best using Guix or NixOS, as they let you rebuild everything from scratch without relying on anyone & rebuilding incrementally thanks to their way of caching packages soundly. Guix does full source bootstrap way better than NixOS, if that's something you're interested in. (you should be) (sidenote: it's fine to use NixOS, as no way the small bootstrap bins of GNU buildtools they have are pozzed, but Guix does bootstrapping better objectively)

bonus points if they are "chud aligned"

Above is why this mindset is retarded. No, I will not be using your retarded software, even if it is "chud" and aligns with my political views. In general, a piece of software is made worse by explicit political signaling, retardless of sides. A true autist creating software which he deems useful wants it to be used by everyone.

This is comical. I was recently experimenting with an IPFS-based package / expression caching mechanism (as a fallback, because IPFS is still quite slow for storing lots of data) to prevent against exactly this. I like web3 for this reason, and believe more open source projects that claim freedom is important should embrace the good parts of Web3 (which is almost all IPFS, you don't need the "blockchain").

Centralized code hosting is also cucked, regardless of the people hosting it. That's why I will be hosting all my code on Radicle, a p2p git platform

Another data point that autism really is overdiagnosed. Certainly no troon-controlled Linux out there has any actual autists to overrule the troons.

"Real communism autism has never been tried."

Going 10 over is not a crime. Speeding in general is not wrong in my opinion, unless it's in a school zone. There's a time and place.
Am I a criminal if I do 120 on an empty highway at night, in a vehicle designed to do more, with good tires and brakes?

I used to like Fedora, until they shipped Gnome 3 and it started to feel like anything other than Foot DE is a second class citizen. Pulseaudio being shipped when it was severely undercooked didn't help, also main reason I dropped Ubuntu on desktop.

Hey, I was about to ask why nobody bothered to do P2P stuff, you can sign critical components and hashing is a thing. Fucking hate corpos for tainting good name of BitTorrent, everyone should have access to synchronous link speeds.

Could have bought up any of the technical reasons why Red Hat is evil (such as pushing Wayland and killing X when people don't embrace it) but you decide to go straight for "Red Hat is woke!".

Funny you mention that because the latest Fedora 42 has made the KDE spin a proper edition, and no longer hiding away in spins.

Even the Fedora folks seem to be getting sick of the Gnomefags, they seem to be pushing the KDE version a lot recently I've noticed.
It would be incredibly funny to see Gnome relegated to being a second class citizen in Fedora.
