Although it's no longer consistently applied (in my opinion), lolcows should be funny or interesting in some way. Politicians, while having plenty of dirt up each pantleg no doubt, are almost mind-numbing in their corruption- it's always a case of some fucko cheating on his wife with an underage hooker or taking bribes for rigging some stultifying government bidding process or even just eating a BLT and pulling a weird face...But it's never the kind of shit that makes for interesting gossip. The underage ho only rarely has a cock, the bribe money is almost never to sign off on the final part for some crazy deathray that may or may not nuke half the planet, and once you look at the photos the weird face is actually only the slightly odd grimace of indigestion, not because a Russian spy poisoned the bacon.
