... so "good game" is now evil? or has it suddenly morphed into "git gud" which is toxic to the modern gaming scene? Gas Gooks? I can't really think of much else that gg can be interpreted as that could be considered "baaaad".

Yeah apparently GG EZ was what caused GG to get filtered back in the day, if I’m remembering right. Some shit about “people found it toxic” or something equally retarded.

These people wouldn’t survive the Good Ol’ Days of Voice Chat - some 8 year olds screaming literally every racial slur in MW2? You give it right back to them - shit talk makes you play better.

Can/could you bind voice commands to specific keys in OW? I was one of those cheeky faggots spamming "Thanks" and "Nice shot" when roflstomping people in TF2. I wonder if this would get me banned.

If you type "gg" there's a chance you're being sarcastic about it, so it goes on the list of no-no words. Can't have imaginary hurt feels yanno.

I opened Overwatch earlier, heard the lovely Winter music, saw the cute seasonal background, my hands itched to play.

Then I remembered that there would be no festive loot boxes and I hate most of the new maps.

I closed the game and watched a youtube video instead.

I still hopped on for the snowball elimination modes. Still charming to have virtual snowball fights especially during the holidays.

I remember the first winter even from OW1. The background, the music, the then new event, the loot boxes, the skins:


You could tell it was a passion of love and celebration from Blizzard to celebrate the holidays with a great game.
