Sultan Erdogan has been fanning flames of Turkish nationalism for most of his reign. And many Turks like pajeets believe that they are going to be next(islamic) superpower.
Also there is large cohort of Turks who are living in Germany and other places on gibs of Euro taxpayers. So they have plenty of free time to seethe on social media if their national izzat is touched.

Yeah, the Turks I talk to in my local gym (netherlands) are almost all very nationalistic. Militant. This is in contrast to the Ghülen supporting Turks I talk to, who are a mix of studious and religious and who seem like diplomats.

The nationalistic Turks see the Ghulen supporters as a CIA front. They might ne right about that.


Some years ago the Turks voted on a new consitution. Not just Turks in Turkey got to vote, there was an extensive campaign where Erdogan campaigned in European countries as all the emigrants got to vote too.

The Netherlands also has Denk, a political party which is basicly Erdogan party in Dutch parliament. They typically hold 1-3 seats out of 150.
 
There was a time when we would have Removed Kebab and had a merry time of it, but then one day Paradox decided that loyal, funloving shitposters were the enemy, and drove them out instead.

Part of me is sad to see Kebab Remove Swede, but Paradox picked their side and must now reap what they sow.
