I saw someone in the forums was trying to create their own West Marches game, I actually have a world that I've been building for months that is exactly what he wished to do.

Basically, have around 4-5 different adventurers every session in a world that's filled of ancient artifacts, terrible beasts and crazy NPCs. The further you get away from the starting town, Orilon, the much more difficult the game gets.

Here is the basic ideas of a West Marches Campaign

1) There was no regular time: every session was scheduled by the players on the fly.

2) There was no regular party: each game had different players drawn from a pool of around 10-14 people.

3) There was no regular plot: The players decided where to go and what to do. It was a sandbox game in the sense that’s now used to describe video games like Grand Theft Auto, minus the missions. There was no mysterious old man sending them on quests. No overarching plot, just an overarching environment.

Character Creation: 4d6 drop lowest (rolls must be in game), level 1, no races over 19 RP and the summoner class is illegal. You can be any alignment, just try to not murder other members of the party without good reason.

Method of Playing: I think Discord would be the easiest way to communicate and of course using Roll20 for the actually game play.

Put a message below if you are interested, maybe come up with some concepts, whatever floats your boat. I'll give you a link to both the game and the discord server.

I'd be interested. I have a character concept drawn up for the previous campaign but its a summoner. Why are they illegal in your campaign?

Ehh, screw it, I'll allow them but - If they get out of hand (Such as summoning a billion celestial eagles), then I'll ask you to tone it down a bit.

He was an eidolon summoner anyway; I just liked the idea of a supernatural power armour user. I'll dig up the character sheet when I have time. Could you give me some basic info on your setting?

Alright sure, so basically the Newfoundlands is a newly discovered continent, teeming with wild life and ancient abandoned kingdoms. You and your fellow adventurers are settlers in a town known as Orilon on the east coast, you may do anything on this island, whether it be start a kingdom or explore the many ruins.

I'm intrested. However, I have a lot of games going on, so I may only be able to perticipate infrequently.
Can I import my character from a previous incarnation of this game (Zov Zadok, devil worshipping Drow Alchemist) or should I start from scratch?

What's the meeting time for this? I'm on EST ususally.

"There was no regular time: every session was scheduled by the players on the fly." I'm not quite sure when the first session shall take place.

I am really interested but I have a few questions.

How long will the campaign go on? I want to make a certain build but the feat chain is long and doesnt see extensive benefit till level 8.

Are you allowing all feats?

I too am interested! How do you feel about gnome Alchemists?

What races and classes are allowed? I'm thinking of going with Bloodrager. Maybe an elf/half-elf apprentice wizard who's masterwork project went horribly wrong...

Oh sorry guys, I've been off from Christmas break. I'm back now. Races that are allowed are any race below 19 Race Points, any class created by Paizo.

Ironman our rolls? Point buy? Predetermined stats?

Edit: Nevermind, reread OP. When would you be available to see rolls?
