Having just finished reading all 3433 pages in this thread, and wiped away the tears of laughter, I have thoughts. Please indulge me.
First, thank you to every Farmer and brotherman who documented this. You have added immensely to humanity’s store of knowledge. In the future, anyone who wants to know how to deal with trolls, build a fence, destroy weeds, write compelling prose, repair stairs, be a decent human being, or pretty much any life skill will find many many important lessons in this thread on how not to.
Secondly, Mama Raven is often blamed for Fatrick’s personality. A careful examination of the known facts, plus some informed speculation, lead me to exonerate her and point the finger of blame elsewhere.
Finally, by any medical standard Pat is not at a healthy weight. Some doctors would even go so far as to describe him as a fat faggot with bitch tits. Why has no-one ever pointed this out to him or here?

How does Pat behave online? He gets mad when he’s mocked, but really really gets mad when it’s a woman. Queen Lesley calling him sugarnips totally fucks with him. He has a problem with women judging him. This does not sound as if he was indulged as a child by his mother.
Here’s how I think it went down.
Young Judy Raven looked around her at family gatherings and knew, quietly, that they were blessed. The Raven clan had no need to brag - their easy mastery of life was apparent to all. They could marry as they chose, for all clamoured for a share of their genetic superiority. Any child would be sober, competent masters of their own fate, blessed with dark good looks and an air of command.
She gravitated to training horses, for she could direct their raw power with typical Raven ease. In that line of work, she met rodeo riders, and rodeo clowns. One in particular stood out to her. His drunken antics offering himself to the bulls for sport both amused and appalled her. How, she wondered, could something that pathetic exist? Could her experience with large intelligent animals be used to train this shambling fool into a man?
Frens, it could. With care, encouragement and the whip, she saw him slowly stop drinking, start washing, and assume a human form. To her surprise, he already knew how to read, and once his hands stopped shaking he displayed normal dexterity. She coaxed him to resume his education and acquire a skilled trade. A master electrician, she thought, would be a solid trade.
As Tom Tomlinson slowly but surely grew into a productive member of society, she began to see him in a different light. He was no Raven, that was clear, but then again few men were. Her family normally married somewhat beneath them. His simple personality, new work ethic, and sobriety were enough, and anyway she was hitting 30 and needed to give the world more Ravens. He would do.
Their first child, Patrick Sean, was a large baby, which boded well. But as he grew, she began to be concerned. Every developmental milestone was hit late. She compared her son to her nephews, whom he superficially resembled. But in them, the eyes were bright with intelligence, the baby limbs strong, the dark hair on their heads glossy, not pubic, in appearance. They reached every milestone early and clamoured for more challenges. Her son, by comparison, whined when the slightest effort was required. His face and form were crude mockeries of their perfection. Was this how her husband had been as a baby? Had she passed on mutant Raven genes that were defeated by his? Worried, she sought answers from family, friends, and finally books. Perhaps a study of psychology would give her the tools to overcome his basic Tomlinsonness.
As Patrick became a toddler, he became more dangerous. Young Patrick simply could not learn from his mistakes. „No, child”, she said firmly a hundred times a day as he kept trying to reburn his hand on the oven, rebruise his head by bashing it on the floor, and rechoke on his own tongue.
Her second son only increased her pain. Wiry, strong, and smart, he smashed the developmental milestones like his cousins before him. At least he wouldn’t smash his face into a bowl of Jell-O, as Patrick kept doing.
And then he started to talk. Endlessly. About things he knew nothing of. Lying about his abilities and accomplishments. This moron. No wonder the other kids shunned him. Even his cousins Jake and Vance gave up on him.
As he grew, and began school, she worried more. The teachers kept calling him a late bloomer. „He’s a retard who needs to be kept in line, else he’ll burn the school down, or get himself beaten to death”, she thought darkly. When the school psychologist job opened up, she grabbed it. She could get him proper testing, both of his IQ and his obvious personality disorders. They only confirmed her worst fears.
Many years later, a teenage Patrick asked her about the tests. She told him bluntly that his IQ results were so bad she broke protocol and repeated the test. The second test only confirmed it: 70. Her son took the news very calmly. Whipping out his calculator, he began pressing the keys. Five minutes later, he looked up, beads of sweat on his face, and said with a smile, „Two times 70 is 140! I knew I was smart!” Judy Raven rolled her eyes. They came to rest on the tattered sign on the fridge she used to encourage herself. Patrick’s eye followed her gaze and slowly sounded out the letters.
”Da-li-tiw. That’s French.”
”No, child,” she sighed.

There is another way. If some relative GOT him the job, the same relative may be able to ASSIGN him some of the jobs also - give Rick the easy or literally no work signups as a subsidy that has some tax advantages.
