I honestly think he's worse. Deep, DEEP down, Moviebob knows that his life sucks and it's mostly his own fault. His bitterness at the world is misdirected bitterness at himself.

Unlike Patrick, who actually believes his own hype.

I don't know if Fatrick definitely does buy into his own hype. The difference between Bob and Pat is that at least with Bob there have been times where he has dropped the act and exposed that his ego is full of shit. Pat, even if he doesn't buy into his hype, has never let his guard down and revealed such a thing. He will argue with you non-stop, not capable of admitting that he lost because he can't do that publicly.

That catfish interview really was an amazing insight into just how blatantly he refuses to concede even if he has to put up the fakest charade ever. One second he was completely treating the interviewer with respect as if this was a serious interview. The next he is literally arguing up and down that he knew this was a fake interview the entire time and that it was him that was owning the interviewer, not the other way around.
