Any Star Trek fans here? Patrick is friends with an author named David Mack who has a deal to write Star Trek books. How good of friends is Mr. Mack with our porky pal Rick? Apparently good enough to give him the honor of having his own character in the Star Trek expanded universe, and not just any character, but a captain with his own ship. Captain Patrick Tomlinson of the Kearsarge. @Boston Brand can you tell us anything about this David Mack fellow, he actually sell books or is he another Wendig?

Pretty much. Pat has given us a glimpse of what he'd be like if he was somehow victorious. He thought the OnA pests were truly gone after the subreddit was banned and gloated about it a number of times.

He's currently engaged in a back-and-forth with a troll. There's about fifty tweets so far between them, here's a small taste. Pat really has to answer every point and insult, it's baffling.

I've watched and rewatched all of trek up to ENT. I can tell you David Mack has got to be a Wendig. We've seen first hand how trek does in the hand of people who don't care. The kind of people who insert their fat friends in a well-established universe for no good reason.

i find it hilarious how instead of just deleting the comments and moving on, or just blocking the trolls, he replies then deletes the op comment. he just can't stand to not have the last word. patrick is definitely one of those people whom no matter what they have to get the last word in an argument. and he still hasnt learned that replying only encourages trolls. just like chris chan, he has years worth of experience dealing with online trolls and he has yet to learn the number one rule of dealing with them
