But somewhere deep inside back in the day when I saw the inclusion movements for other sick ass stuff in life, and also the acceptance of criminal behavior like illegal aliens, I knew it would naturally progress to this point. I seem to remember a lot of people feeling the same way.

I said all that to say this: When I was younger I heard people bitch about the Bible, especially about Noah's flood. "How can a loving God do this to people?" Well, now you know the types of people that would cause a deity to shake the galactic Etch-a-Sketch and start over with 8 people, if you believe the canon.
I also had a problem with descriptions saying that some people got so angry in the Bible that they tore their own clothes while they were wearing them because of something that happened. This is the kind of crap that makes me empathize with those human moments.

I wouldn't say it has "progressed to this point". I mean, NAMBLA was around in the late 1970's and pedo sites have been on the web pretty much since the internet was created.
