Hello, if I've linked this thread to you, it's likely because I've reacted to your post in a negative fashion, which is akin to a "downvote".
Such reactions include, but do not exclusively pertain to: [Autistic] [Dumb] [Islamic Content] [Horrifying] [Lunacy] etc.
Upon joining an internet forum, I often post a thread like this, so myself and other users involved are more able to efficiently hold discourse behind my reasoning for reacting negatively to a piece of content posted by another user.
FAQ - You have received a negative reaction from me
What does this mean?
The value of your reaction score (points) on your comment and Kiwifarms account has decreased by one. Negative reactions include [Autistic] [Dumb] [Islamic Content] [Horrifying] etc.
Why did you do this?
There are several reasons I may deem a comment or piece of content to be unworthy of a positive or neutral reaction. These include, but are not limited to:
No - not yet. But you should refrain from making comments or posting like this in the future. Otherwise I will be forced to issue an additional negative reaction to another one of your posts, which may put your forum reputation, as well as your commenting and posting privileges in jeopardy.
I don't believe my comment deserved a negative reaction. Can you un-react to it?
Sure, mistakes happen. But only in exceedingly rare circumstances will I undo a negative. If you would like to issue an appeal, please post in this thread clearing outlining what I got wrong, linking to the specific post. I tend to respond to my appeal threads within several hours. Do note, however, that over 99.9% of negative reaction appeals are rejected, and yours is likely no exception.
How can I prevent this from happening in the future?
Accept the negative reaction and move on. But learn from this mistake: your behavior will not be tolerated by me within the thread in question, or any other threads for that matter. I will continue to issue negative reactions until you improve your conduct. Remember: posting in a Kiwifarm thread is a privilege, not a right.
