Or is into physical fitness or is a chemist. The people who watched Syble 30 years ago and started role playing atleast tried to create characters that might be able to function in the world, even if they usually boiled down personality into a set of stereotypes. Usually they tried to be someone better than they were, or someone who’d seem cool to other people. Tumblr DID is basically giving name to every negative emotional state these kids experience and associating it with a name and a hair color. The funniest part of the whole phenomenon is that people just use it as an excuse to not improve their mental health and the dude who moonlights as a bartender and wedding photographer after his office job probably lives closer to a life filled with rotating alternate personas than anything they’re actually imagining

I'm pretty sure what that means is this:

i remember a pooner kid taking over a fandom i used to frequent, and whenever she does something she does not want to take accountability for she'd just say "thats *insert name of the idk how many alters she has* and not me" and was soooooo annoying

btw she colonized her way into the moderation voting cuz all of her alters each count as a unique vote apparently and then effectively controlled all policies cuz all of her votes count as a unique vote (also all of her alters each voted for me getting banned btw)

i gave up when ordinary words became slurs under her tyrannical regime

even the owner made the dumb decision to not interfere. what kinda beta cuck owner even.

PS: shes a fictionkin who thinks her gay fanshipping is cannon otp (i swear its always the snowflakes, which fujos are a subset of, who act this deranged) and the two characters involved, one's a psychopath and the other's a personification of death. go figure.
