Durring the sites absence, a group of us from the Fediverse started making a Pokemon Leaf Green ROM hack inspired by 4chan's Pokemon Clover. I was hoping to get the demo ready in time for the site to come back up, but since we I don't know how much time I have i'd like to begin croud sourcing teams as soon as possible.
@Cedric_Eff is doing a much more elaborate thing, this is a much shorter project than the (very awesome) thing he is working on.

Our main purpose is to change every single NPC in the game into either a Lolcow or a forum user. Predominantly, enemy trainers will be cows with teams based on what makes them iconic/funny/retarded. Ideally, every team member will be a specific referance to their life. This way we can get away from stagnant types and have gym leaders with more interesting teams.

Example: Koga's gym is replaced with the Tranch. Koga->Kevin's team is based around all of his fetishes, including Cloyster as his ace representing the Am Hole, A Nidoking representing the dinosaur toys/fetish, Hypno for hypnosis fetish, and Charizard as a transsalamander. However his gym trainers is a double battle with Kindness and Paul using Pokemon based around her 'alters' and rescue rats.

Text will be updated to reflect who the trainers are. Trainer Tips will be replaced with facts about transgender statistics.
We will do map re-design afterwards.
Its a small project, but so far we have made it through formerly Brocks. I will post a demo as soon as the text is finished.

Feel free to suggest teams, and remember that we have an entire mid-game to fill so not everyone can be Gunted Four members

Hopefully people can contribute stuff because I cant read *that* many threads to the point where I understand a cow enough. More often then not if I am not familiar with them i'l go off the OP and do my best.

I got no shortage of story ideas but I don't know how to mod a pokemon game. If you can provide some OJT, I could help you code some shit.

Trainer sprites for the Gym Leaders would be very useful. We were thinking of having Cosmo Wright as replacing Brock so that would probably be the first one.

Eventually I know I want to add an evolutionary line of Keffals' wiggler and the standard Kiwiler (evolves at level 41).

Map redesign is more a 2nd release idea. I want to have something playable somewhat soon. But simple map design ideas are very welcome (preferably with the assets of the existing location)

Gen 3 + notable others + fakemons is the plan. I'm not a good enough GBA programmer to fit everything that radical red can fit unfortunately. Most people that are very interesting will get a fakemon hopefully.

I've made some before, I know mostly what I'm doing. I'm hoping to get it out in phases. So I'd like to get trainer data and some text based on RBY within a few months with a few new mons. Then after that I'd start making the region and plot custom and that would take a lot longer.

GL op. Romhacks have been consistently the best Pokémon games ever since the GBA generation.

If he's not already placed somewhere there might be some fun to be had turning the professor into Chris since he's got dialog and you get to see him deploy a Pokémon in his intro lecture.

If you go the decomp hacking route there is an exapansion to pokemon emerald that adds in every pokemon, move, item etc up to sword and shield
