Should there be a thread-limit (per day)?

I generally don't like restrictions, but I'm curious about your opinions.

If there are though, it should be something reasonable, like maybe 4 threads per 24 hours. I'm not sure if there's an instance where someone would be missing much from not being able to post new ones for that day, when having already made 4. If they do then that's arguably bad planning.

And the reason why is because there's always a trend of posters that spam the "New Sperging" section, leaving people with less new flavours of sperging, only from one source.
You can of course search deeper, but the sperging board should never be defiled.

To potentially make this a better topic, post the limit there should be per X amount of time, or argue why this is a good or bad idea.

You should only be allowed to start a thread if you pay @Null 100$ superchats with a dumb comment attached during MATI.

I mean if someone is spamming just report him and i'll nuke the account.
I think it should be viewed on a case by case basis, some users do have the ability to create gold content extremely quickly, it should only be when the threads or Q&A are shitty or excessively spammed which should account for 95% of them anyway. Also nuking account's too early prevents possible Halal content, which seems counter intuitive to this site. Don't kill the cow nurture it.

A simple Google search at this time yields a Reddit account, which he deleted as of recent. Here's a sample of what I picked from Google's web cache.

He deleted it when we found his other accounts and called him out for shit opsec (see his profile). He clearly did not read the warnings when registering and used the same account name everywhere. He had a Tiktok under the same name which he also deleted. He was essentially copying Reddit Q&A threads and spamming them here. I don't know if it is possible, but perhaps his deleted Q&A threads can be compiled into a single Mass Debates thread or something to keep them archived.

The thing is, it's only ever a problem for Q&A/general discussion. Specifically putting in a rule just for that would seem a little strange.

Plus as annoying as it is they almost always get bored pretty quickly if everyone ignores them. I understand though, it's gone through my head a couple times.

wow, what drives someone to that kind of behavior.
I honestly figured the account belonged to one of the usual tweaked out weirdos who are constantly orbiting the site; otherwise why would someone make an account and immediately go start spamming Q&A of all things?

Maybe the siren song of spergposting in a question - answer format is stronger than it seems.

I have no idea why Q&A recently has been attracting a lot of spergs. This alkasike96 guy joined last Friday and initally posted a couple of threads in Q&A. I saw them but didn't really give them the time of day, mainly because they weren't anything special and they weren't clogging the New Sperging section. For whatever fucking reason he decided to just spam Q&A after Q&A thread today and talk about his weird fucking fat fetish. After some digging, and I think those archives capture this, I discovered what the guy was literally doing was taking Reddit Q&A threads he made and copy-pasting them here. On Reddit, aside from his fat fetish, he talked a lot about the Coptic church and posted in r/antiwork about selling drugs instead of working (the antiwork jannies deleted this one lul). Did he decide to just port his autism over from Reddit to escape censorship (he said nigger in one of his threads here) and the jannies deleting his posts? That's my guess why he came, but he clearly didn't pay attention to the warnings when registering.

It’s a fine Q&A tradition to make a burst of three to four threads and then stop for a while. We’ve been doing it for ages.

How about if it just didn’t display Q&A for new content? It’s all junk in there.
