Thought they were just a gimmick, but now I highly recommend them as doing warm-up mannequins with them is very much funner than using standard pencils

Yes. I search them on Google Images. I know they're kind of warped and such and hardly look like who I'm drawing. I was drawing them in Anime style. My mother said the same thing to me with my portrait of Vladimir Putin.

I see, I'd recommend drawing just like the references (Pinterest has plenty of good ones) you find for practice like drawing legs and arms til they look 1:1 to the refs you find, then trying to draw them accurately on your own, Before styling it to look anime-ish.
