The long, sharp nose and the small eyes remind me of Trent Reznor. The multicolored, geometric background speaks to a mental state that is happier than his expression lets on. I can't come up with anything to cleverly tie those notions together though.

Something from a while ago, when I had a lot more time and wasn't even a quarter as burnt out as I am now.

Wasn't aiming to depict a certain person, I did not have eyes on the painting for 90% of it only adding them to finish up. I did most of the work on the painting in a terrible state, it may be showing through. Took some influence with old Orthodox Christian paintings/icons as well as some Picasso with the angular style.

Elric, Stormbringer and Lords of Chaos.

I want to eventually colour this like some old Elric comic covers I've seen: with trippy and bright neon-like colours with sharp contrasts, which is the best style of colouring and that is truly underrated, and very fitting for the "dark fantasy" stories like Elric.
