"Post your Art" Thread

Did this in three hours this morning, it's smaller in person.

I hate doing stuff like this because I'm bad at backgrounds/realistic-looking shit and this type of thing is overdone, but bones and flowers are my jam.

Verdict: I like drawing and coloring on wood, but I want to do something less trendy-looking.

Edit: words
Still, this came out pretty good!

Hello everyone I'm a super megaman nerd but maybe I can try to post my best works. I'll start with my most recent drawing.

Every now and again I go through a brief phase where I shit out mediocre pixel art as a relaxing pastime while watching Netflix in another tab.

However, for awhile I was coding a platformer that ended up being a homebrew Squidbillies game, and I'm actually a little proud of how decent some of my sprites turned out (considering I suck at art, otherwise).

When I first started coding the game, tho, I used a sprite I had made of my bf and his dog as a placeholder:

This was supposed to be a Geodude, but it got out of control!

I completed work on the game engine and designed the first level, which I had put up on my website for a bit to play, but ultimately got bored after that and decided to go back to being a lazy fuck.

Hope you all enjoyed my shitty pixel art.

Done with the first version of an album cover I'm creating for a friend's one-man metal project. Nile would probably be the closest relative to his project's style and themes, hence the Egypt-inspired artwork. :)

Only edited out the logo/title (might change their look completely) and started to correct some minor errors. Slightly terrified of refining this digitally since the last time I've tried editing/coloring drawings (or drawing in general) digitally was probably around 2013.

The drawing itself is the size of a CD digipack - the reason for this is that I wanted to gain better understanding of how the whole thing would end up looking as a physical CD-cover.
