This is the OG Primitive Technology channel. He still makes videos today. This is the latest one. It's a dude in Australia with some land. He then uses primitive knowledge and building skills to make everything from bricks and ovens to fishing traps and iron smelting. He doesn't talk, but if you turn on annotations/subtitles there is an explanation of what he is doing. Most of the time it isn't necessary and you can just watch what he is doing. They're pretty cool videos and probably some of the best Youtube content out there.

Then there are the copycats. They make it seem like they dig with primitive shovels and adzes, but it is obvious they are there with excavators. I think the people who run the channel pay these builders/diggers cents per hour and then make the big bux from Youtube monetization. Copycat videos get tens of millions of views. The copycats build extravagant houses/gardens/pools. It's a bit ridiculous actually. Examples: Jungle Survival, Primitive Jungle Lifeskills (this video has 1.2B views), Primitive Survival Tool, and so on.

If you watch the copycats from years ago and today you can see a massive shift. Where they used to build simple houses and pools, now they're building mansions. They always involve water in some way, pretending to carry it in buckets over or small streams. What is probably happening is that they're bringing them in with cisterns.
