She has that forced voice sound a lil bit.

In her first video you can hear that she audibly grasps for air sometimes, and get a lil bit raspy voice as if she was straining it greatly.

Also, she just popped into existence around 2023. So it might be a case of working hard on passing and then utilizing it.
TBH I have some respect for trannies that actually put that much effort to be passable. If she is one that is.

Yeah, it's really painful to listen to his voice in the splines video. I would honestly rather a shitty computer voice-over.

Like, the animations look nice and I'm sure a ton of effort went into making it, but I can't bring myself to listen to ~75 (hell, even 1 or 2) minutes of this. It makes me a little sad because I can tell a lot of time went into its production.

avoid the meson build system if you are dealing with any sort of legacy software it makes all configuration 1000 times worse.


Edit: if you need to mix the configure build system and meson god help your soul and your sanity because the docs are complete shit and will send you around and circles, plus chatgpt WILL NOT save you.

cmake is the hill i die on when i really dont feel like figuring out the configure scripts or writing my own makefiles, Plus it makes some of the dependency mumbo jumpo, more readable then m4 which is what I am used to.

I’ve already shilled it before but goddamnit Swift is the language I keep coming back to for all my personal projects.
I’ve written multiple high performance applications (mainly trading related) and I always go for 0 external Swift dependencies because the standard library is more than enough for almost everything imaginable. This approach forces me not to be lazy and ensure everything is optimized from top to bottom. If I really need some sort of external dependency it’s written in C (e.g. notcurses or secp256k1), installed via Homebrew and linked via a module.modulemap. Done.
It’s fast, predictable, ARC (GC BTFO) and most importantly not C#/Python/Rust/Zig.
