I couldn't have summarized things more nicely than you did. But I feel inclined to correct this one point: Cogs did not ask Marvin to shut things down. Cogs demanded. Cogs never asks for anything because when you live as a shut-in so hard that other people aren't real to you, it never occurs to you they might not assume you have authority over anything you feel like. Even if it's a forum like this that he had never once had any participation in.

Before this Forum existed, I went in the CWCki IRC looking to make friends and converse with other Christorians. I was in the room for a few minutes, tried joining the convo, and somebody asked me who I was. I told 'em I like reading about Chris and his online exploits. I was then asked how old I was, which I thought was weird, but I told them anyway, I did come to talk after all. I was immediately kicked and banned from the room. It turned me off of socializing with Chris followers for a long time, until this board started. Seriously, we have a good thing here. Sounds like the old crew wants to be an insular elite class.

the CWCki IRC was pretty insular tbh, but from your anecdote you sound like your were underagebann, that's really not that harsh. It also depends on what year this was, the IRC kinda became very in-groupy after Speculation was deleted from the wiki, to keep out all the spergs. haaaaa Ive just remembered Rika went into the CWCki IRC and had a shitfit, lol that was funny.

I would love a cogs thread, I don't know too much about him, but the drama ive heard is always pathetic and hilarious :lol:

It was in the last 3 years, so I was at least 29 years old. I got the impression it was a bunch of college kids who didn't want anyone outside of their demographic included. Either way we have a much better community here.

EDIT: Thanks for the Powerlevel rankings, although my age isn't an "intimate detail" on this board, and I'm responding to a claim of a mod thinking I'm underage. Learn to read.

In 2014, there were several leaks from PVCC as focus shifted onto them again, and in return Cogsdev banned basically everyone except the people he wanted to talk to.

Cogsdev is probably the only interesting person from the PVCC and he is still very active, now in Social Justice politics on Twitter. I've frequently seen Cogsdev's comments on YouTube videos relating to #GamerGate. He is a Male-to-Female transgendered person living in England and subsists entirely on welfare. He's a true NEET and wears it like a badge of honor; from what I understand he does not leave his house at all and has food and services delivered to his door whenever possible. His Twitter account declares him to be a communist. He also has me blocked.

This one picture sums up Cogsdev and the remnants of the PVCC very well.

Oh, and in the off chance Cogs reads this: Remember, Chris is going out every day and interacting with people. He even makes money off Sonichu now. You officially lost.

Depends on how you define the word "interesting." (Usually, when a higher-ups tells you all the old stuff isn't interesting, they mean they can't be arsed to dig it up.)

Edit: To be perfectly fair, some stuff has been held back upon request. Ivy, Kim, etc.

Brother, Cogs is essentially the opposite of the Hulkster in every way. But you pretty much summed it up. There's a few random anecdotes I have but not sure if this is the forum to discuss them

There was nothing on PVCC that wasn't leaked to /cow/ or elsewhere within minutes. There might be an anecdote made by one of the "inner circle" folks that wasn't, but in general everything that PVCC saw, you can find elsewhere. I have zero reason to lie about this. I stopped going to PVCC because it was Cogs/Ali/etc circle jerk and came here instead to discuss Chris. I'm guessing same holds true for Marvin, ABL, etc

Old irc channels seem to have a natural tendency to become increasingly xenophobic over time.
