Hi! Earlier today posted thread about a Canadian dental hygienist losing his license for treating his wife. I used the spoiler tags for the main news story, since it seemed pretty long. A few minutes ago saw where the mod had "unspoiled" the story.

Where did I make an error? Apologize if I did. Am concerned about getting whacked for not using a spoiler, so when in doubt I use the spoiler. Are there any hard and fast guidelines for using a spoiler when posting long stories?

Thanks!

they want stories in a+h to be posted in full, no spoilers or quotes around them

i think they hope that this sort of forces people to read the article before commenting instead of just reading the headline
Is that new with whole state of the board and janny thread, because I've still been quoting them.

Glad to do that, just didn't want to get whacked for doing so.

I use spoilers for op-eds, with no problem. So you can see why I had a question.

Just post the fucking story. You don't need to quotebox it.

Why do people insist on making shit two fucking clicks to read? I clicked your thread. I want to see the article. Stop hiding it.
Because nobody reads the article and it's more to scroll past. I was actually thinking of phone posters for once.

I’m way into this forum’s “let it all hang out” philosophy in general. It’s one of the eleven reasons I joined this site.

Don’t be that. Nobody whacks anybody around here for free.
