Neets. Redditors. Fuse it and you've got r/antiwork's bastard cousin.
And to prove that it's really lolworthy stuff, I decided to just browse the stuff on the front page - it's one thing when lolcows pop up in some niche threads, but another when they have exposure to any person who opens the sub.
Here we go, in the order of finding:
For starters, if you don't want people sitting around for no reason without contributing to society, it means you're a "fucking asshole".
What do you do when your life has taken a wrong turn? Ask family and friends for advice? Look for professional help? No, you post about it on Reddit.
Not in education, employment or training? That's normie-level stuff, this absolute chad is in not getting a photo ID!
Life is not about "the daily grind", it's about "living like a hermit"! (the kind of hermit who lives off his parents' cash)
You know your parents are truly terrible when they don't want you to spend their money on drugs (which, depending on the jurisdiction, may nor may not be illegal).
Some guy is trying to find ways to sleep more than 9 hours. The lazy bum jokes write themselves at this point...
And finally, the moment when you get triggered by the fact that someone is actually doing something good about their life, and you channel this energy into Reddit, not getting a good job of your own.
TL;DR: r/NEET is a place where entitled people come to find ways of amplifying their existence of doing nothing, and talk trash about the people who fund their "lifestyle".
