So apparently the "molding"mention is referring to the Praetor Medallions being made from a pressed mold, which means they're even lower effort than I imagined. If you make a mold for something as opposed to hand sculpting if the design is as simple as the sonichu medallion you can go for full accuracy, but no instead of copying one of the older duplicate ones that's absolutely around somewhere or letting chris sculpt one a new one, they just make them an even more bare minimum effort variant of the Praetor one. Prices probably won't drop on the "official" medallions though, ahaha...
