I agree on that, however:

1) Trolling Chris isn't easy anymore, you need to get an "in" (Which is now much much more difficult to get), you need to compete with other trolls for his attention, and you need to guide him somewhere funny, which is difficult because it's all been done before, otherwise you will come off as prick.

2) Chris's current precarious state in life makes the human cost far far greater than the potential lulz return. It's one thing to fuck with a manchild who doesn't have responsibilities and doesn't need to prepare for a parent-less life, and it's another thing to fuck with Chris while he has debt to service, a mother to take care of, and a difficult life period coming up.

If you carefully consider the above 2 points, you will see why the Jessica Quinn troll was complete garbage.

I think it's been discussed before, but I think he's leaning so far on the pony shit because it has an actual community and gatherings. Sonichu was great for him and all, but nobody gave a shit about Sonic or Sonichu. At best you got some deviantart groups with some roleplaying edgelords and pedophiles. Chris just naturally gravitated towards MLP since it's real, it has promise of letting him actually escape reality rather than wishing there was a portal behind his door. I think if the impossible happened and Sonichu was as big as MLP with it's own conventions and stuff, he'd go right back to that. Like it's been said, he got really high off being at that bronycon.

I think this and your last couple of points are pretty spot-on. I like to believe this is why many of us still care. We don't want Chris to be miserable - we want him to hang out as long as possible because he's genuinely hilarious. I personally enjoy Chris' a-ha moments, because you're right - he absolutely overshares every aspect until he becomes bizarrely authoritarian while (usually) missing the point entirely.

Call me but could you imagine the Chris who one day got and held a real job or any other kind of responsibility? I'm certain he'd straight away be giving us pointers for filling out Arby's applications once he got that first paycheck.

It's reasons like this that I'm on the fence about paying him for content. That well will eventually run dry and it's just more handout enabling bullshit, imo. We, the true and loyal fans are the least-enabling people he has in his life. For that reason, we might be the best friends he has.

And the last thing I expect to see, is Sonichu ageing to become a grandfather (though, who knows)

In comes Night Star, a completely new character with a completely new universe that can make up magical villains that only ever seem to oppose friendship. Chris is all about kindness and friendship, so he now can have a character that actually can fight something again.
Top it off with it being his pony self-insert that also interacts with both him and technically can visit the Sonichu Universe as well, and you have the ultimate Chris chan character. She is basically a mix of Chris, Sonichu and Magi-chan, all being Chris's favorites.
