Caden doesn't care if Chris can't afford to live there, and he leaves voluntarily, there's no eviction process and all Chris will be able to do is beg Caden to get let back in, which Caden can just say "no" to.

Sometimes I think that's why Chris doesn't advertise the big island house, so it's harder to say Chris is a tenant there... and to prevent the pilgrimage of weens... and getting the cops called cause caden is trying to sell shrooms again, and pizza sent to the house. There isn't a reverse mortgage, this was a mistake that Null once made and years later it is a zombie piece of misinformation that won't die.

(Actually, it MIGHT be a reverse mortgage at this point if there was any equity there. I don't think anyone has checked in a while, but it started out as a normal mortgage on a house Bob had fully paid off before he died.)

Second mortgage or reverse mortgage is honestly mostly irrelevant since Barb isn’t going to bother with it either way and the bank will be involved. Although I do not envy the bank because not only is 14 Branchland in the middle of a dying suburb but has a history that will make most potential home owners gag. Honestly coaxing Chris back into the house and continuing the mortgage payments may actually be the winning play. Otherwise its demolition or being sold for far under market value

I had Chris talk to her [Barb]. She said that the house was paid off but she took a $108k mortgage on it to pay debts. The $900/mo he gives her is for the mortgage.
Rekieta inaccurately says she sold the house to the bank, and perhaps I used the word reverse-mortgage incorrectly, but she has essentially taken a loan with the house as collateral to pay consumer debt. Chris will almost assuredly lose the house when she dies.

And Chris confirmed on discord a few years later that there's no reverse mortgage..

But then later in a jail letter he said that he knew about the reverse mortgage and even used it as an excuse why he fucked Barb lol..

Second, I have long known of the Mortgage being Reverse, but it was retained Unconsciously, hence why I had healed and cleansed Barbara of her sins and regrets and gifted her life extension by my Soul Bonding and Healing Powers, And why I had told you all to send her money to Pay Off the Mortgage Before I said anything, ever of Relocating her.

So he either confused a second mortgage with a reverse one or his lawyer at some point told him about the real situation of his house (reminder that at that time Chris sent several letters complaining about how Barb was refusing to die and asking his followers to raise 150k so he could take the house from her and likely kick her in a senior home). I think the first option is more probable but who knows.
