It's a double assault on the eyes for me: my browser displays the text as white on his page for some reason so all I see is a giant glaring block of cyan/teal with faint white unreadable smudges in it.

I can override browser colors to make everything black on grey -- like WWW sites originally were back in ye olde days of Netscape Navigator and Mosaic -- but I don't want to even read the extremely narcissistic and solipsistic derping of "Chris Chan" in the first place. That dimwit's life really did kind of stop after "Count Graduon" visited him. The "BEST BIRTHDAY EVER" with the paid "Gal-Pals" was sorta like that freak's retirement party.
BTW, I think that anyone who only learn plain HTML and who isn't "Chris Chan" usually at least try to still make a "Web 1.0" page look pleasant if they're posting it online.

It always makes me a little sad to think about how much Chris loved high school and especially his 18th birthday party as an outside observer realizing that it was all fake.
He wasn't a good student. His teachers just shuffled him along. The "gal pals" were either hired guns or spent time with him only out of pity. They didn't genuinely want to watch Goodburger and eat cheap pizza in the middle of the afternoon with the retard with the suspicious white stain on his jeans.
But, damn, Chris loved it. And it makes me think that even though it was probably really nice in the moment to put on a bit of play acting for him to give him nice experiences, it really set him up for some major disappointment when the real world hit him like a freight train.

Lots has been said already about the gal pals but I am not sure I buy the idea that they actively set Chris back in socialization. I mean, Chris should have learned the difference between a casual acquaintance and a close friend- that is far more important than the gal pals spending time with him.
Put it this way- most people would realize that because the calls with all of the gal pals save Kellie Andes stopped coming the moment Chris graduated that it meant they no longer had much desire to stick together with him. Obviously Chris couldn't tell this because he has Autism but as socialization goes, Borb should've both taught him how to make new relationships and when to tell that old ones weren't too serious. Like most not autistic people wouldn't care too much if friendships drifted apart after school but Chris clearly took it too seriously because he never understood there's different kinds of friendship and like tiers of acquaintanceship.
