The medallions are like the behelits from berserk. They are objects of fate and terrible evil bound to certain people. The sonichu medallion itself is incapable of corrupting the human soul. It is given to people that have already fallen. As a symbol of the moral and spiritual rot that has taken root in the vessel.

What I find most interesting is when these guys are doing some kind of collateral damage. You know like when he apologized a few months ago and never brought it up again until now.

Makes you wonder if they're worried about competition or such. I mean if Chris REALLY meant any of this, wouldn't he be volunteering his time doing something for someone else?

Ralph - Downward spiral went down even further, has yet to recover and likely never will.

Rekieta - Drinking and drug abuse got worse, got arrested, has gotten worse ever since.

Idubzz - Married Anisa, his life and career have gone to shit and are only getting worse.

And while people like Mutahar have seemed to have escaped their controversies (so far), these instances prove that no evils are being purged there Chris.
 
Chris seems to think “it will get worse before it gets better” like his medallion is ipecac or chemotherapy…

It’s kind of rings a bit hollow because Chris also used this cope as the reason why he had to forcibly rape his elderly mother.

I remember during the Bella texts and later prison letters, he said something like barbs resisted him at first, but that they had to “soul bond“ in order for her to be healed and her not wanting it originally was like the “evil” trying to stop it.

Remember that Chris unironically believes that him perpetrating that evil onto his mother is the reason why she is still alive to this day. Chris is extremely good at rationalizing anything away if it protects him and his ideals.
