Didn't Chris do an update on Twitter stating that Kuntnugget had died? I remember him being upset because he killed one of his persona's sweethearts. Did that get re-tconned because it was IG?

He did the spell-names-backwards thing and thought he was being clever by pointing out that Eggman sounds like "Nah, I'm gay" backwards. I think it's him having a juvenile sense of humor rather than being homophobic.
He thinks he's bi, though.
He seems unwilling to retcon what Idea Guy said if it pertained to CWCville. My guess is the comic pages took place before Kunt Nugget was killed.

I thought Chris later deleted those tweets, saying he didn't type them and was hacked? What actually did happen then? Because that was after Idea Guy was outed and before Chris announced he was Bisexual iirc.Kirsten is either some kid who's a fan of Sonic, stumbled onto Sonichu and tweets to Chris and his orbiters for attention, or is a wannabe troll trying the pretend-to-be-a-fan method to get an in with Chris.
Kun T'Nyuget is an Idea Guy character that he planted into CWCville, apparently in order to manipulate Chris into thinking he's bi. Chris establishing Kun's handsomeness is just him following Idea Guy's script.
Going on the inevitability that Barb will someday die, is there any plan on the forum to help Chris should he lose his home? Any kind of safety net for when this eventually happens?

I'm not sure, my guess is Chris was told to make those points public but he was uncomfortable about it, so he did it, and then tried to save face by deleting the tweets and making up the story about being hacked. Kinda like that time years ago when he was told to say "nigger" but didn't want to and went around it by saying "niggo" instead.
Being doxed didn't stop Idea Guy - Chris even drew his Kunt Nugget character the following day. He had influence over Chris until around May, and the "hacked" tweets and bisexual stuff happened in April.

Does Chris know what the Ideaguy looked like? If not, it could be why he is so intent on noting Kun's attractiveness. Maybe, the ideaguy catfished him with some hot guy's photos.
Okay, I am going to pull a Chris and say, "input noted"; however, it still makes no sense. Why would Chris make it a point to draw Bowser laughing at calling someone gay? It's not childish humor, it's someone showing their true colors, who happens to be a manchild. While Chris may not realize he's being homophobic, he definitely is. He didn't even have to go there in the first place, there's an innumerable amount of word-play he could have used.

Back when Chris had antagonists, whether irl (slaweel and the jerkops) or trolls (Clyde and Jack).
I think the Sonichu comic, as Chris would idealize it, does not naturally have conflict. This slice of life bullshit is the real comic to Chris. All the best parts, the sub episodes, were merely diversions to him.
It might be interesting to get Chris to put Idea Guy in the comic and meet cunt nugget. Then Chris would have to resolve the conflict between Idea Guy tricking Chris and Chris' belief that cunt nugget is real.
I mean, we can probably guess what the rationalization will be. But it'd be interesting to see Chris lay it out explicitly.
