I think the original manifestation of Chris's loneliness revolved around Cole not being in his life. Chris was lonely everywhere always, but a brother, being family, could be forced to play with him when others had the choice to say no. But Cole was too old and moved to California.

Cole moved to California before Chris was even born. I don't think he's harboring any childhood grief over a "lost brother".

He said he was 7 or 8 to which Matthew replied "You've held on to this dream for 20 years?! Dreams do nothing for you." Something like that...Matthew said Kasey didn't like that name because it sounded like a stripper or some booze or something.

Ah thank you Mr President, I knew I read that he dreamt Crystal up as a little kid. It just stuck out as so friggin weird that a little boy would be dreaming about having a daughter. No wife, just a daughter.

Hell, crystal is Chris's oldest reoccurring character.

IIRC, the symbol, as well as the name "Night Star," came from one of those Facebook quizzes. Chris just latched on to it for whatever reason.

But in all seriousness, it's bizarre how he glombs on to such trivial, stupid shit and takes it as prophecy or divine providence. He's done the same thing with dreams before. He felt he was guaranteed a wife and daughter because of a dream. He thought for sure Bob had a few more years left before he died because of a dream. He pitched a tard fit to change his name until his parents couldn't take the sperging anymore and relented, all because some dude wearing a bear costume got his name wrong in a shopping mall during the Christmas season. Personally, I feel that the fact that Chris sees such extreme importance in such trivial nonsense is strong evidence that he has some major undiagnosed mental illness of some sort.
