Containment Random Chris Updates

This is what Chris needs. People stomping on his delusions, and telling them they simply aren't real. Especially people like you who, he likes and trusts.

We've seen that at this point playing along only made things worse, and politely saying you don't buy it is ingored. He needs for people to laugh at his beliefs while they mock and stomp them into the mud. Chris is a grown fucking man, and he and his rètarded beliefs should no longer be coddled or even slightly encouraged.

It might be too late at this point. Chris would just ignore, withdraw, and find yes men that will continue to manipulate him by humoring his fantasy. Any honest help at this point would also have to manipulate him, for his own good.

If you're "manipulating him for his own good" you're still feeding his delusions. You'd have to constantly re-enforce his beilefs for his own good, which as opposed to helping him is engraining the busllshit deeper. His ego and delusions would just continue to get worse. He needs as many people as possible, (especially those he trusts) to tear down those beliefs as harshly as possible.

It'll either show him it's bullshit or he'll double down. If he doubles down well fuck it. He was helped once, but at the end of the day he's a grown ass man. There are better people to help than a delusional manbaby who goes put of his way to find these situations

Yeah, Chris will hear what he wants to hear and he's impossibly egotistical, that his own character flaw that has almost nothing to do with autism or trolling..

For all the proding they tried on Chris to do something proactive about about the idea guys, all Chris heard was: "blah blah blah magic crystals blah blah blah bronycon tickets..".

I don't think there's anything that can be done to help him. Chris will accept, in his current state, a lot to stay in LaLaLand. Lose money, punch Barb, shit on the floor. When he heard Megan had a gun he had enough awareness to not pull that thread anymore.

No matter what the Cap and Null do, the Idea Guys will get to Chris. They'll do some devious shit for their own amusement. All you can do, in my opinion, is hope he has the ability to know when enough is enough. Right now I think he'll stop short of getting trouble in the law or getting hurt/killed. If he keeps getting scammed Barb may wanna know where the money is going when her Sheetz addiction feels the crunch. She may take over his tugboat.

Chris is already lying to Cap anyways. He'll protect another Idea Guy if asked to. It's like that episode of American Dad where Stan tries to protect a Dodo clone from constantly killing itself.

I don't believe that telling CWC you don't believe his bullshit, cutting off contact or any form of 'tough love' would have any positive effect on him at all. It would make him sadder and lonelier but his bullshit is all he has and he won't let go of it.

Those that think this sort of action would help misunderstand the nature of his mental illness.

But I have no solutions, there is no way to bring him to any kind of normality (even a tenuous one) as far as I can see.

He would cut all contact which would cause more problems and fix none.
And start looking for another useful fool to manipulate. Is "Rocky" still around? Maybe he could give her a jingle to her when he needs money and food. All Chris really wants is someone to take care of his problems while he plays pretend. Who ultimately fills that role matters little.

This is more than mental illness. Chris is a bad person who exploits everyone so he can live a life free of responsibility and the stress of being an adult. I do not think that Chris can work any job at all, but he can live within his means and take care of his household while having interdimensional psychic cartoon animal sex with his many spouses.

I have to disagree with you here.

When it comes to the people that Chris likes, he's unabashedly kind and always attempting to talk on the phone, hang out, send gifts, etc. He'd spend his last dollar on you if you really needed it. That is both a good thing and a very very bad thing at the same time - it's how Wise and Boyd were able to scam him out of thousands of dollars.

He actually bought gifts for everyone he's close to at Bronycon, including myself. I had to explain to him multiple times that the money would be better spent on things he needs at home and that I'm not a fan of MLP.

When my "birthday" rolled around I actually got a box in the mail with two medallions and an actually really well done (by CWC standards) Magi-Chan amiibo. He never made Magi-Chan amiibos in the past because he puts a lot of parts into them to give it a "floating" effect, etc. and the base is from one of the rarer amiibos. The only other one he made is the one he keeps himself.

When he bought his high school ring back, he actually attempted to pay me extra for shipping and PayPal fees so that I wouldn't lose even a dollar. I told him I didn't want a single penny over what I spent on it and I even had it cleaned (for free) by a jeweler one day at the mall while my wife was having her rings cleaned. He was amazed that it looked as nice as it did when he got it back - I told him lots of jewelry stores clean that sort of stuff for free if you even seem half-interested in their store.

[other stuff]
He spends other people's money freely. So what? Many people do the same thing. A couple of guys from SUNY, NY's public university system, embezzled money. One of them, being a nice guy, donated part of stolen funds to charity. How generous. I once went to a sale liquidating the estate of a person who stole almost $1 million from employer. Person was described as generous and constantly giving to friends and family. It was stolen money, but still giving, right? Chris only steals a small portion of his income, but it is still the same situation. Money has no value to him because he does nothing to earn it and views it as almost magical in how bank account refills itself when he makes videos where he pretends to cry. It would not be much better if it was money he earned because he is unprepared for everything. He could not afford a tow, auto maintenance, etc. He gets thousands each month and cannot cover the basics.

Chris lies about how he spends his money. He has no money for food, but still has streaming services, "donates" to cartoon porn artists, buys toys and gifts, and frivolously blows through money in whatever other ways. Calling him a grifter is being nice.

He was scammed out of money because he is stupid and crazy. He did not give them money to help get their dying family members much needed cancer treatment. He was tricked into it.

Is that how you measure kindness Captain?? An autistic man who is starved of affection that has been conditioned to be a doormat until the time is right? That's called manipulation on both ends using greed and materialism.

I'm with idiot on this one, Chris is a horrible person, who uses money and material goods as a manipulation tactic because it so easily works on him.
Like Kim has stated before, Chris doesn't have the emotional capacity for a lot of things and genuine kindness is one of them.

We can agree to disagree, but I've seen Chris do things where there was no benefit to himself.

No real cost to him either. Give me $10,000 and I will take some Down Syndromers bowling for a few hours before selfishly wasting the rest on myself and people I know.
Not to disagree exactly, but by the definition you're using it's impossible for Chris-Chan to show charity or compassion, since he doesn't earn anything except from EBay sales and sales of his comic.
Or maybe that wonderful chap is saying that giving away something that means nothing to you is not the same as expressing kindness.

I do not know if Chris can be kind. I just know that giving away money he swindled through phony sales, false promises, and lies about being in dire need of funds is not exactly the same as someone sacrificing for others. Call me crazy if you must, but I think kindness and compassion would probably require actually fulfilling promises and not lying.

@Marvin would concur with me on this in regards to Chris being kind to a very niche group of people.

Honest question - Does Chris even realize that his tugboat comes out of other people's taxes? I am more than willing to bet that he just assumes that the government pays him for just being special old him.
(Where does the government get the money? Well, that sounds like the government's problem.)

I think so. I think it was in the Kacey Father call, he justified his blowing his tugboat on stupid shit as the fact that it went towards taxes and thus was helping people
