Admiration, ego boost, self-esteem. Chris isn't the type to read to orphans because he wants to make a difference or soothe someone's pain, but he is the type to obsess over others and try to prove he's not a pervert. Chris very much reminds me of a child who would obsess over a cool kid and try to give away his favorite toy so the cool kid would claim he was cool by association.

Chris lies about how he spends his money. He has no money for food, but still has streaming services, "donates" to cartoon porn artists, buys toys and gifts, and frivolously blows through money in whatever other ways. Calling him a grifter is being nice.

He was scammed out of money because he is stupid and crazy. He did not give them money to help get their dying family members much needed cancer treatment. He was tricked into it.

A couple months ago I said the same thing about Chris and his spending habits. Here's the caviet though, if Chris is so good at managing his money, then the real question is why the fuck is he constantly begging/lying/making up stories for people to give him money??? Someone explained this to me: Barb leaves $400 a month for Chris. Barb has MASSIVE debt and seems to be a financial black hole, but if you look at the crap Chris buys, it isn't tons of money. Say he buys one of those stupid Funko pops a week. It's $30. It's stupid, but he's not running out buying five $100+ Lego sets a week.

Chris has way more interests than funko. Those are just prominently displayed. Try and imagine what his video game budget must be. He talks about buying toys at target, and just recently mentioned he has at least 3 monthly streaming services. Nothing about Chris or his history tells me he's NOT spending a majority of his money on himself.

Yeah, exactly. Anytime we've been able to reliably track his spending, it's always shown that he's almost immediately spent the total on himself, and I don't think he treats his tugboat any different, hence every month by week 3 it's a beg-a-thon.

This is a good idea. I think, like most mentally disabled people, Chris could benefit from a simple economics class. Credit unions often have them.

Barb taking money does not even play into it. His problem is not that he needs more. He will never have enough money. You could give Chris $1 million and he would be broke in a few years (tops) and begging for more.

His problem is a very basic one. Chris cannot understand money. A normal person budgets around how much they have and how much they are obligated to spend. Chris will send out comic books he promised his donors if he has money after buying himself what he wants. If not, well, maybe when he gets money. Maybe not. Etsy, eBay, Patreon, his contests, and the rest fit a consistent pattern. His concern is getting his. He over promises and under delivers. And lies. He likes to lie. Imagine how much more in the red he would be if he did basic accounting. All those liabilities from items never sent out. Chris is better off because people do not expect him to do what he says (and yet still throw money at him.)

People on here have figured his income some months in the thousands of dollars. Chris complains that his mother wants a share, but he is still frittering away a lot of money. More than $400/month at least.

Chris cannot understand money

One of my personal favorite examples of this was his amiibos. He gave up selling the medallions, despite being fairly lucrative, because he simply wasn't to do it anymore. So instead he starts making $30 custom amiibos.. out of $60 dollars worth of other amiibos. He's cannabilze three other sets to make one Sonichu simply because his autism insisted it have the exact right tail.

Like Kim has stated before, Chris doesn't have the emotional capacity for a lot of things and genuine kindness is one of them.

If that's the case - and I'm not sure I agree it is - then if you lack the emotional capacity to be kind can you really be bad?

Some of his acts have been bad, of course, but if you lack the ability to be kind/good through mental illness, bad parenting and the rest can you really be held responsible for your actions?

That's my problem with those of you who really dislike CWC, I can't find it in myself to dislike someone who is incapable of being better. I wonder if some of you are mixing up his actions and his responsibility for them. Particularly these days when his actions are generally not that abhorrent or bigoted as they once were.

Chris isn't stupid, he knows he can't say that he hates tards and blacks anymore, or he'll go back to 2008 levels of harassment. All of Chris' love is love, tolerance is gold act is a blatant lie that is used to manipulate the truth about Chris and grating personality.
