I really hope Chris managed to “””swindle””” those two idiots out of hundreds more dollars other than the Patreon donation and the Switch. Hard to imagine there exist people in the plane that are actually dumber than Chris.

Do we know exactly what happened between them yet? Last thing I saw was that they were proclaiming themselves to be believers in Chris' "divinity" or something like that, and now they're retreating faster than his hairline. I've gone back a few pages to see if I've missed something but I cant spot it if I have.

I believe in being a good samaritan but people generally relocate for one of two reasons: sex or money. They sure weren't gonna fuck Chris so it had to be for money.
Chris is a perfect candidate for getting swindled big time if someone is just willing to wait til Barb dies. He's gonna need shelter, he has a permanent tugboat, he's beyond stupid and delusional, and no one in his family is gonna bother keeping tabs on him.
The fact that Chris recently gave some autists $6k over the dumbest shit (missles on the moon lol) shows that he's susceptible to a scam. The old belief that Chris won't give away his cash because he's too cheap and selfish has been destroyed. Anyone can see it.
Now I don't know what their story is. Maybe they never intended to move closer to Chris. But I do know the story they're telling is bullshit.

Not too sure here.....in 'scambaiting' circles (people who reverse-scam all those Nigerian princes with fortunes they want to give you if you launder their money for them by paying a 'small fee') a technique that goes by the name of "slapping your lad" is one used when the lad (scammer) they are baiting becomes uncooperative. It is very similar to what's happening to Chris; shock the lad back into compliance by acting pissed off and offended, threatening to cut off all communication after such a 'disappointment'. This usually gets the scammer bending over backwards to be nice and not lose the fish they think they have hooked.
Not saying this IS what is happening in this case, but it's certainly a possibility. Should they accept chris' apologies and new promises and come back to worshipping The Prophet of the Merge, it's say its a LARGE possibility.

You’d have to be pretty desperate or autistic to scam Chris, the 6k from what I understand took extensive RPing about his interests and most scammers just want to send a generic message out to everyone and hope a few people take the bait, I could see Chris being taken advantage of by some new age magical crystal salesperson or something like that though but Chris doesn’t have the kind of disposable income their usual clientele have so wouldn’t be a priority.
The only other surefire way I can think of Chris getting scammed is if they’re a reasonably attractive female and try to befriend or even move in with Chris which is a lot of work for a gold digger who could just date a rich old man so they’d probably be a junkie with no other options.

It bothers me that he refers to his dead father as ‘Mister C’ for some reason. Good on him for not trying to hawk that fucking mug off on eBay for 200USD.
