Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

Is it me, or Chris has given up on Family Guy and moved on to Futurama? He doesn't seem to own the latest Family Guy game on his PSN profile and begins to post some Futurama references on his FB. /sperg
He dug Futurama before. He made a reference to it/a gag on the show in Sonichu. It's just that his interests ebb and flow. For awhile it was nothing but video games but now it's Lego. Nothing really unusual about this tbh. I go from horror movie binges to nothing but action movies all the time.

Was she ever formally married before Bob? It seems she just had 5 or 6 common law husbands who would drift in and out of her life

A-logs don't really hate Chris. They just use their "hate" for him to make themself feel better. If Chris wasn't around people would probably make fun of A-log since he share quite a few things with Chris.

A-Logger's logic:
  • Chris is autistic
  • Chris is a horrible person
  • Therefore, autistics are horrible people
They're afraid of being compared to Chris, so instead of taking the more rational direction, they complain about him and wish harm/death towards him, unaware that they've become another Chris.

This explains his Two-Face. A Pisces symbol is two fish going away from each other. One is the Good fish, the other is the Evil one.

Guess this explains this video:

I think one of the most craziest things about "I Got a Fish" is that it was chronologically just after he did the Wedding comic.

Just imagine, he's gone from thinking about the biggest moment in his life, to dancing like a retard and repeating the same lyrics. What the hell does a fish have to do with a wish anyway?

... What the hell does a fish have to do with a wish anyway?

@Highly Koalified --- that question bafflified me. What do those 2 have in common? Linda Tripp pretended to be Monica's friend, secretly taped their conversations, betrayed her trust, and leaked her confidences. A better question is, who's the most attractive, Linda Tripp or the trolls?

In Slavic cultures, the goldfish is the equivalent of a genie in a bottle/lamp (interchangeable, actually - people very well know that one too, of course).
I assumed that at first until I found out that most places don't associate the goldfish with three wishes, so probably a coincidence.

It rhymes, and Chris is :stupid:

But how old was she at her first marriage?
She was twenty when she married R. C. Yeatts. Still young by any past or present standard, but not as timelessly ooky as her mother's marriage.

Does anyone know or remember what year Chris got the tugboat in? It's not on the CWCki and I don't remember if it was ever figured out or if Marvin/Fatman ever dropped it.

How does Chris feel about his owner/mother Barb?

Does he enjoy being around her,or at least love her?

I get the feeing that Chris is basically like a battered wife. He dislikes and fears the person he lives with, but is too emotionally attached and helpless to ever leave or put his foot down?

I suspect that after the haircut incident, it's "I don't have to love her, but I have to respect her". He definitely doesn't enjoy obeying her (spooning, etc) and he seems to know that not everything she does is good for the household.

Barb has been Chris's most consistent source of asspats since the moment he landed in the doctor's hands and cried "Hmm, yeah." She's the one who has always put Transformers in front of him and let him ramble about vidya. She lets him be her child when the rest of the world wants him to grow up. Chris is in love with his idea of life, and Barb provides enables that life, so he loves her. Maybe he does have a level of love that's more genuine, but I don't feel comfortable going there. Does he enjoy being around her? At times, I think so. He enjoys playing video games and Legos, and if Barb happens to be in the vicinity, he doesn't enjoy it any less. Barb had occasionally been known to curtail his efforts to play more violent video games and (conjecture) mass debate*, I'm sure he doesn't like that. What Chris REALLY dislikes about Barb is her sending him out for Q-sands, ass bandages, or Goodwill furniture. That's time that he could be spending wooing da ladies or pokermanning his way across his DS.

So does Chris get frustrated or resentful at Barb? Yes, but not for a rational reason. In his situation, You or I would be mad at Barb for treating us like pets. Chris doesn't mind that at all. Chris just minds being taken away from what he wants to do. In his head, his new fuckmommy will be a lot more carefree than Barb. New Mommy will probably even take over the ass-bandaging so Chris can continue building lego schools and not drawing comics. Chris gets frustrated at Barb for complicating the process of finding this amazing supermodel billionaire who will make both their lives better. But Chris doesn't care at all about being battered. For Chris, being battered just means there's a deep fryer in the vicinity.

*We've heard nothing on this since moving to the rental house.

Chris seems to believe that everything from language - making up words and expecting others to know what they mean - to technology - worrying that pirate copies of LBP will be produced for the HexBox - functions the same way as LEGO.
