I quit RW in 2011 when the kids lost their shit and started fighting over power and rules and shit. The place stopped being fun before then anyway, but the ratio of jerks, aspergers, and mentally ill definitely didn't rival what they've got going on now. Are some of these people fuckin for real? Is the Chicken Coop for real? Any middle schooler can tell a dumpster like that is only going to cause more trouble. Why don't the moderators do anything?

It was inevitable that things would turn out this way. Some of the aspergers and nerds and a griefer server admin realized they could do whatever the fuck they wanted as long as they stuck together and I didn't let the door hit me on the way out. They didn't give a shit about having real editorial and community guidelines that would have prevented most of the content and behavior problems you guys laugh at. For God's sake Encycloepedia Dramatica is run better.

Now it seems like all they do is fight over power and their "mops" and pointless junk nobody used to care about like autopatrolled status. Back in the day the obsessive nerds were so lazy that they made everyone a sysop just because they didn't like to see unpatrolled edits when they reloaded Recent Changes every 30 seconds. Now it's not like unpatrolled edits are more or less likely to get reverted especially if its an editor they can pick on and get rid of. They removed your autopatrolled to harass you not because they care about what you write!

It's a damn shame because the old basics of the site like creationism and climate change are out of date but still ok once you strip away all the "snarky point of view", shitty research, social justice stuff and dumb distracting templates and portals the aspergers kids stick on everything. Their community always sucked but now they won at letting it turn a decent site shitty. Kudos.
