I'd been opposed to getting rid of a thing simply because it is controversial, including GG. But this situation is many magnitudes worse than a big controversy. The topic attracts vicious people wishing to harm many of us. Once that is added to the never-ending controversy, then yes, I am willing to consider moving it off-site.
