Isn't David the guy who owns RW tho? Even if he got "the red card" he could just access the wiki directly and play with his permissions couldn't he?

There's not much reason for him to even be a mod, he can do what he wants anyway. It's all just to make it look nice.

Even discounting that, let's go over David's other fuckups:

1. Has gone to bat for Ryulong even when the community voted numerous times to censure or ban him, for reasons that are well documented such as him being a power tripping jackass.
2. Clearly intends to defy his own community and keep the GG shitstorm on the site.
3. Makes it clear he does not give a damn about the fact he has a massive civil war on his hands and is hemorrhaging users left and right.

Even if he we take his likely backend shenanigans off the table, he's managing a community full of bitterness, paranoia, and mistrust and is handling it in the worst way possible.

What would it take for you to just abandon RationalWiki completely and to see how much of an asshole David Gerard can truly be to other people for no reason?

Why do you think, that I'd have to do the former, if I decide to do the former? I never said, that he is a good mod, but at least he's not as bad as Paravnt was in his mod-cock-swinging and being a dick (I can only say that about the dramata I personally participated in, nothing more).

I can take Paravant's word for it because out of all these people that are over there trying to make their case, he's like the one sane person in that entire asylum right now and I love how fearless he was in calling out Ryulong in his shit.
