I think "RationalWiki" started when the big internet debate was atheism versus religion. Back when there was "euphoric neckbeards"? But as the big internet debate moved over to "identity politics" with "microaggressions" this and "white supremacy" that, "RationalWiki" moved along with the flow, ironically becoming a rather cult-y religious site.

That's half right, as the Religious Right became irrelevant in the late 2000s-early 2010s the atheist movement (which was never a model for organization or clarity of purpose) split into a whole bunch of factions - plenty of people just stopped caring, some (e.g. Hitchens) doubled down on the arguments they'd been making all along, and a small but extremely vocal subset got into hard left/identity politics. This was the faction that formed Atheism+, and RationalWiki welcomed them with open arms since it had been hard left simce well before the schism. Given the sheer amount of double standards and pseudoscience that A+ pushed the term 'cult' is apt. In some senses they're no better than the creation scientist charlatans they used to enjoy deboonking.

Oh no, you can be far-left and still hate Stalin. Anarchists, Trots, and quite a few commies hate him and tankies in general. It's not really that far of a stretch. But still about on point for the site. It only ever had remote value back in the days when Creationists had a pretty noted influence online, and for teaching babby's first rhetoric.

It stands to reason that a celibate order would attract a disproportionate number of people uncomfortable with their sexuality. These would include homosexuals, pedophiles, and homosexual pedophiles, but ready access to young boys tells you what it will attract most.

If they had altar girls instead, you might see the opposite.

Even then, though, I think it has less to do with the genuine pedophilia scandal than the fact Church policy acted as an enabling force, essentially amplifying the ability of pedophiles to access children, because instead of protecting children, as the actual gospels demand, they would shuffle the priests around endlessly, delivering them to new parishes that didn't know of their proclivities and not restricting any access to children.

So whether or not there actually are more homosexual pedophiles in the clergy, which so far as I know is not conclusively proven, Church policy made it so the ones who are there were able to be extremely prolific even for predators.
