Comparing a nice place where a couple hundred unruly deaths by police per year happen to a place where there is rolling blackouts, constant starvation and famine, and zero basic human rights, Kafkaesque societal norms... that's like comparing a BB pellet to a nuclear warhead. It's painful to read how he's almost admitting he himself is the problem, not his lifestyle, but he doesn't quite get there. It's like the climax to a story but there's no resolution.

I make considerably less than he does, hardly ever work out and I'm thin/lean, don't eat healthy, and I've had plenty of luck with talking to women. I know this was two weeks ago, but I just saw that outside of r/Conspiracy, users on several Subreddits saw no problem with Jamie Lee Curtis featuring artwork of a naked child in a box in her office.
Really was a stark contrast from other places. Most users on Twitter and YouTube, and even users here all seemed to agree that it was gross/weird. Makes you wonder what your average Redditor is hiding if this is (relatively) "normal" to them.

I think the problem also stems from American dating culture compared to other countries.
I have gone out/had relationships with women from other countries (Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Indonesia) and they all had different ideas for what dating and relationships are and what is to be expected compared to people in the USA. I didnt have to play a weird game to earn their likeness or build up to it or sell myself, they just liked me for me. It was simpler than my experience with girls actually from here.

While the vegan community has no shortage of crazies, there exist crazies so crazy they make even the average vegan say “you’re fucking crazy.” These are the people who believe in reducing suffering at all costs.
They legitimately believe that humans should do everything within their power to stop all suffering everywhere in the world. Their most (in)famous stance is the idea that all carnivores should be killed because they need to kill to survive, which is ironic and incredibly stupid, but isn’t even close to being the weirdest thing they believe. For example, the OP of that reddit post mentioned that only 1 in 1000 turtle eggs ever grow up into a healthy turtle. Do you want to see the solution a commenter came up with?
That’s right, gene editing! Is nature being mean? Just play god and bend it to your will! Ignore the environmental collapse that would bring. Or better yet, don’t, you can’t suffer if you’re dead, after all!

it's not a specifically american problem, it exists in most western and westernized countries. anglosphere, western europe, korea and japan - it hasn't reached the exact same degree everywhere, but it's there, and in most of these places it keeps getting worse as the years go by

I do find it funny these people always compare Trump and Maga people as Nazis without going into too much detail.
There's another thread of the same article on the entertainment subreddit. That has alot more cooments where they bring up other conservative celebrities those who specifically supported Trump like Sorbo and Voight and do the usual "Trumpers dumb".
What's funny is I'm pretty sure Gary is friends with Jon and Kevin. Like I'm pretty sure if he saw every redditers comments on both threads. He would call them assholes. Like Gary may not have been a Trump supporter but he was always respectful about it and didn't go all Arnold either. There's a reason way Trump Supporters like Sinise and hate Arnold. Like look it up not a single Trumper hates him because he wasn't a dick when he said he didn't like Trump. I'm pretty sure Reddit isn't aware that Trumpers don't hate him and never will. Because that would be too hard for them to understand on "way do Trumpers hate Arnold but not Sinise?".
