r/australia is currently collectively losing their minds because Catholic hospitals (10% of the hospitals in the country) don't provide abortions.
A lot of comments very similar to this one, saying how great it is when they get nationalised. Personally if the Catholics want to take up the burden of providing 10% of the country's healthcare to slightly reduce needless government spending I'm all for it.
Some brave soul tries to explain that if you want to get an abortion so badly maybe you just shouldn't go to a Catholic hospital, redditors seethe because not killing children is literally murder and/or fascism. Love how he also got downvoted to oblivion for pointing out the obvious hypocrisy in somebody saying "they shouldn't be allowed to force their belief on others (deny a non-essential service that plenty of other places offer) so we should force our beliefs onto them (force them to commit an act they are morally opposed to or lose their job)".
I imagine this is a common issue with redditors. 3 million of them squat in a subreddit called antiwork where they rage about having to contribute to their own living, but when abortion or faggots wanting wedding cakes are involved they instantly abandon the concept of "nobody is entitled to another's labour".

Also like how he thinks that before one prime minister was elected everyone was a-ok with killing kids and these hospitals weren't like this even though abortion was illegal or heavily restricted in most states until the late 2010s, when the former politicians who live rent free in his head were elected.
