I frequently like to look into some of the leftie subreddits out of morbid curiosity and today in the Mountain Goats subreddit (Indie band sub) I stumbled upon a discussion about how the lead singer should have known better then to agree to an interview with the New York times because they are "right-wing" and "anti-trans". Mind you the NYT has written several puff pieces promoting Hasan Piker an avowed socialist, Hamas defender and CCP apologist.

To be fair, I don't think a majority of them actually understood what was going on with Hong Kong.

I know it's been said in this thread a million times but god I wish Trump was even 1/1000th as based as Redditors pretend he is. I DO wish 10 million illegals (no they aren't "immigrants" they came here illegally and are illegal aliens) were deported. I do wish Trump would imprison activist judges and Antifa domestic terrorists. I do wish something was actually done about violent protestors obstructing ICE and federal law enforcement. None of that is happening. Trump is totally impotent. I follow the sub "/r/tooktoomuch" which in general is a fairly good sub just a collection of videos of people on drugs having freakouts in public pretty funny stuff but it has the same issue every other sub that is above 100k followers where people will shoehorn in political stuff that has nothing to do with it. So if any even remotely right-wing political figure dares to wipe their nose during a speech "WHOA THIS GUY IS ZOOTED ON COCAINE WHAT A HYPOCRITE RIGHT? SO MUCH FOR FAMILY VALUES!". And of course the moderation team does nothing to stop this they actively encourage it by not deleting these blatantly political threads on a sub about drug freakouts.
