If theres anything i love on reddit its green energy spergs. All of them believe that the us goverment is controlled by big oil and that big oil is an omnipotent evil entity. Big oil to them also really hates green energy and would do whatever they can to stop it. Instead of you know investing in it and getting those fat goverment subsides.
Its just such an adorable black and white, saturday cartoon villian way to view the world. Instead of these
Im all for reveneable energy but its much better to focus on feasible solutions like solar or water mills.
Even farmers from very progressive countries where there is no oil production are against wind mills cause it has a crap ton of consequences for them.
Solar and wind farms apparently works better then other kinds of energy in various weather conditions.
Then we have that other guy saying that there is nothing shamefull about this but i mean come the fuck on. Where do we draw the fucking line?

Not to mention that a lot of american banks wont grant loans to new oil prospectors not due to risk concerns mind you but they say its for their image.
