Locus of external control. Is easier to fall back on the mentality that all your woes are caused by oppresors while the success of other people is a plot of the system to priviledge them while keeping you down. The extenal locus cope fills you with righteous indignation, you and your tribe of likeminded losers are a victim of circunstances fighting a revolutionary battle, the truth is harder to accept, that you just suck balls and you may have been extremely priviledge yourself but squandered it all for dumb shit like farming karma on reddit. The latter involves emotional pain , guilt and a real struggle to retake your agency in life, thats boring, is human nature to choose the path of least resistence specially when there are a million subreddits lovebombing validation for that mindset.

I'm assuming they have an open marriage since there isn't a single monogamous couple left on reddit. Which I can't really blame the female redditors for, would you want to fuck a dude in his 30s that takes his reddit karma seriously? I'd be buying my husband a Switch so he can be distracted while I get my guts rearranged by every Chad and Tyrone I could find on tindr.

It really depends on your job. If your job is customer-facing and you're supposed to be welcoming and you're scowling like the Big Red feminist dangerhair stereotype, get a smile on your fucking face, cunt, or get out. Same applies to males.

Not necessarily justifying the particular dude in the Totally Happened Dude story. It would have crossed the line if he just said it apropos of nothing, rather than as literally an order or something.
