Fake af, confessing to a crime that is as miniscule as that and even bringing the money to make up for is getting you just a fine in Germany.
If the court is feeling extra malicious they are gonna give him probation but that is already highly unlikely.
The charges could also just be dropped by the state attorney, the store would of course still get its money + interest.

It may end up on his record but his workplace would not notice until they request another copy of it which they usually only do when employing and then never again.

I'm 90% sure this guy's a bot but it still fits how most of reddit is so stuck into consumerism, that they can't have any other hobbies or interests.
