This is something I notice so often on Reddit, people being super over the top and performative about how much they hate sex pests at any opportunity. Like they will bring it up whenever possible. Thread about classic rock, someone inevitably has to bring up 60s rockstars banging teenage groupies. Thread about movies, inevitably Weinstein etc and how horrible Hollywood is gets brought up. All the hand-wringing in relationship advice threads anytime there’s an age gap between grown ass adults. The same group of people who want to abolish the police and prisons suddenly going ultra death penalty mode when it comes to even unserious Aziz Ansari bad date article tier sexual misconduct allegations.
