There are very few left, frankly I don't even believe the official estimates. Let's say you were between 2 and 6 months of age during late 1944 to the spring of 1945 which is the latest you could plausiblely have been sent to or born in a concentration camp.

You'd be 81 today. That's why they trot out these obviously fake survivors all of whom look to be in their early 60s.

The grift from some years ago was to say that descendants of survivors inherited genetic trauma and therefore should be classified as hololive survivors too, the narrative is not going away. It will be like blacks and slavery, forever oppressed because of past events.

What is interesting is that on Reddit as far as social justice types go, most blacks that post on there actually have envy towards Jews because they try to out victim them only for Jews to still somewhat come out on top.

Meanwhile, they set their sights on Asians, but they get more pissed off towards them about their stories of their grandparents being surivious of Pearl Harbor and internment camps, yet Asians largely ignore them since they don’t always have chips on their shoulder.

Perhaps I'm still in denial with how much of an echo-chamber reddit is, but I'm still floored by the fact. I sort by new on r/goodnews and I occasionally see posts like "Baby turtles rescued!" and "New breakthrough in fighting obesity!" but they never crack 100 upvotes. Meanwhile, I spy that 15 days ago, a post was made about Trump being accused of cognitive decline. I would not call that "good news" on the basis of the fact that Trump is a world leader. Even if I thought Trump was the most evil person ever, I wouldn't think it's "good news" that he'd now be mixing in some good ol' Alzheimers to his nefarious plots. So, clearly, that's why it reached 49K upvotes. I guess the 'own' feels several orders of magnitude better than the potential consequences if the accusation was accurate.

I always laugh when threads like these are locked. All that means is that too many people weren't bleating the approved opinion of "Rowling Bad, Support Trans Rights"
