Because games are such a shitty business to be in and subscription model is the only way to get stable revenue. Even the biggest studios are one or two flops away from layoffs or closure. When sc2 came out, subscriptions weren't commonplace enough for them to charge monthly or do a battle pass. They had initially planned out 2 explanations and by the time lot. Came out, sc2 was pretty much a failure, so it didn't make sense to invest much more into it.

I played that game, for some reason, and it's honestly unhinged how 1:1 it is with the 'ironic' self-destructive, toxic terminally online groom victim. Down to randomly mentioning fighting games and an urge to excel at them but knowing they won't stick with them. Such a niche yet common trope with vtuber wannabes. Also the hyper-sexuality and ability to ditch streaming to ride random dicks all day.

I read on 4chan the trannies managed to fully took it over, with every moderator being a tranny. So I went to check on it, and of course the top voted post at the time was "all trannies are welcome cuz trannies = women" or something like that.
Trannies are truly vile creatures. They constantly whine about dysphoria but have zero issues taking over and ruining a place called "twoxchromosomes"

Seriously though Chomsky worship is all over the place on Reddit, particularly the academic subs. I remember seeing an AskHistorians thread questioning his opinions about something he knew nothing about and the top comment was basically "Chomsky was probably wrong about this one thing but he is still good and a very special smart boy so please don't think too hard about this."
