The things that some of them soy out about Japan used to be normal here as well prior to mass immigration:
- People in rural areas rarely every locked their houses and left the car keys in their cars - and nothing was stolen; nobody broke in; nobody vandalized their stuff.
- Trains overwhelmingly ran on time and it was a rare thing that you'd miss a connecting train. You could even sleep on the train and when you woke up all your stuff was still there. It was a bit like the "self driving car"-thing before "FSD", ... - without the smashing into the side of a truck because the "AI" thought the truck is a billboard.
- Lost your wallet? You could typically find it in a lost & found box - with all your money still inside.
- Want to BBQ with friends or family? There were multiple places that usually featured most of the following things: wooden fountain with (drinkable) cold spring water (keeps beverages cool in summer), wood fired BBQ with gridiron, a small wooden hut with windows and a door (no locks on the door) as well as benches and a table. The places were clean, the windows intact and a place to park your car nearby was available.
- The people who retired 10-15 years ago told stories how when they first entered the workforce, companies sent out people who gave them a bottle of wine if they promised to show up to a "please work for us"-pitch. These people were able to afford a family, a nice house in a nice location with a garden, ... based off of an apprenticeship, normal work and could often retire 5+ years early. No 60-hour workweek "career" necessary.
- If you bought something at a reputable store it'd almost always work as advertised.
- Almost every village with >500 residents had a bank or later an ATM.
Lets compare with today (same order as above):
- Anything that isn't nailed down gets stolen - even in rural areas. If it is nailed down or locked, it might be vandalized or broken into. Even if you are at home, but haven't locked your doors, some "elite human capital" will eventually walk in and take whatever they can.
- For the poor souls still using public transport: Trains often are delayed and missing a connecting train has gone from 1-2 times a year to 1-2 times a week. The trains went from stinky (because of smoking), but otherwise clean to very clean when smoking was segregated to dedicated smoking wagons of the train and now to stinky and dirty. If you fall asleep for even a few minutes, chances are all your stuff will be stolen. The only reason why anyone would use a train nowadays is because of the permanent congestion on the roads that is getting worse every year and the exorbitant pricing of parking space in the city - if any is available. Want to rent a parking space for the month to make sure you have one? That costs you >1000$ a month.
- Lost something? Well, it's most likely gone.
- These BBQ places are now mostly destroyed. The one that's still mostly intact has one bench and most of a table remaining. It is however covered in graffiti and the windows are smashed. Trash - including glass shards and mangled up red bull cans - covers the ground however. The fountain still works tho. It is no longer a place one wants to spend time at with family or friends.
- Want a job at one of these companies? Unless you have a MSc or PhD from a renowned university you can fuck right off. If you live frugal you might even be able to buy a small house.
But worry not: some of the most expensive apartments and houses are owned or rented by the government for "refugees". That really expensive luxury apartment spanning two floors with a really nice view in a prime location? Govt rents it to house one single refugee who doesn't even use half of it. Better work harder and more hours - after all the govt also deems fit to use your money to pay his healthcare, dentist, food, public transport, utilities and gives the guy quite a bit of cash every month as well. - It doesn't matter whether a store it "reputable" or large - you always have to be careful or you'll get scammed and the thing you bought doesn't actually work as advertised or beaks after 2 years.
- The only banks left are in cities. ATMs in rural areas are almost extinct because "elite human capital" keep blowing them up to steal the money.
But hey - ethiopian food or sushi or kebab or whatever... Totally worth the massive quality of life degradation, all the carnage and violence as well as the complete obliteration of social capital and social cohesion according to redditors.

Not sure if this is the norm, but from some of the shock videos I've seen, it seems like it's usually similar fetishists (or just very unscrupulous and opportunistic guys i guess) operating out of some dungeon-looking room in presumably their house where they'll mangle your junk for a price. I feel like I saw a YouTube video somewhat recently about one such guy who'd do operations like that and sell em on Telegram until he got caught, but I can't really remember (and it might've been an amputation fetish thing as opposed to extreme cbt/body mod type shit, now that I think about it.)

What's funny is that once in a while someone goes to Japan and then talks about how wonderful it is. How they can walk around in a minidress in the dead of night and no one bothers them, that they can doze off in the metro to their hotel and wake up unmolested. But if any redditor dares to suggest it might have to do with the composition of the japanese population, mods are quick to intervene. Funnily enough, none of them complain they miss that wonderful Ethiopian cuisine the west is enriched by.
I grew up in a village with just whites. I was always confused people complained about representation. Sure, most people on TV are white, but that's how it is all around me. Then I went to the city and saw a minority of whites. I think that explains part of the leftist brainrot, they are surrounded by sexual deviants and nogs, so they think that is how reality is everywhere. If your city is 30% white, but TV is 90% white, you think the TV doesn't reflect reality. If half your friendgroup assfucks other men and wears dresses, you think there are countless trannies everywhere and there is just a small crazy minority still saying most people just want to have a normal two person heterosexual relationship between consenting adults (male-female).
As for your other points
1) I remember in the summer we would leave our windows open on the ground floor to let cool night air in. Tool sheds were left unlocked. Then one day there was a break in on the other side of town and we had to remind ourselves to always lock doors and keep windows closed. One time we had a roving band of gypsies (thanks schengen) looting every tool shed they could break into. Of course the police didn't want to raid their camp to recover the stolen goods.
2) constant loud music and people setting their phone to speaker, then shouting gobblygook. In the years I had to use the train, I could see the entire thing deteriorate in real time. Now, once in a while, i see news articles how train conductors get beaten up and women feel unsafe and wonder why nobody comes to help them.
5) funnily enough. My father is casually looking for another job. When he was first looking for a job there was a worker surplus. Now there is a deficit, and he's shocked how he's being treated like trash. One recruiter was shocked when he asked for travel compensation to go to the job interview, thought it was some old man lie that that used to be normal.
6) the entire middle segment of goods is ruined. You either get temu quality, or pay 5x normal price for the premium stuff. Everyone complains about it, buying the "middle" quality goods just means you paid someone a fat margin for alibaba garbage he dropshipped himself. The solution people came through is to just buy multiple units of the same good so they can replace it quickly.
7) the government sure loves to push plastic money too, their pet rapeapes blowing up ATMs is the perfect excuse to phase out cash
It fucks with education as well. They don't know there was a time when you could have proper classes at a decent level. All they're used to is dumbed down lessons and teachers spending half their time pacifying the browns.
