Fun fact: if you're a complete dick, N95 masks protect you from even viral particles (the paper masks only protect against microscopic droplets of snot and phlegm carrying the virus while letting through completely aerosolized viral particles). This means you can protect yourself from the pathogen. But when you exhale, there's no filter on the exhalation vents, so you can also spread whatever pathogens you have.

I thought it was bilateral inguinal hernia as I've seen plenty of neglected unilateral ones that reached that size.

In the US, I don't think it's that common. Or at least I hope not.

I don't even think there's a legal way to get a doctor to perform it, since it really doesn't have any medical benefits. Most times you're literally tearing up the urethra and the head of the dick.

Or all of the dick in extreme cases.

Or whatever the fuck happened in this specific Reddit case.

It's considered an 'extreme body mod' and I think how people do it in the US are at-home via online sources or through more underground "if you know a guy" situations.

Possible some piercing and tattoo shops, but even then, it's really too far out there and maybe too niche for it to be openly sold as a service by professionals (if they value having a business license lol)

Outside of this weird hobby, it's only done by some Aboriginal Aussies, South American tribes, and African tribes from what I gather. It seems to be a bizarre version of circumcision for these cultures.

Regarding the reddit aspect:
it's Reddit… I'm sure there's some people that genuinely get off on the idea of sleeping with someone with a mangled cock, or get off on the idea of doing it to themselves, or even get off on the idea of making someone mangle their own dick. (There are plenty post-SRS subreddits out there, after all.)

But what I've learned from Reddit, just because there's an audience for an extremely fucked up and niche kink, doesn't mean everyone who enjoys it makes it happen irl.

For example of a similar instance of that happening online: the infamous Cannibal Cafe / Armin Meiwes case. Armin Meiwes confessed that he talked about his cannibalism fetish online with plenty of people and these people also had the curiosity/fetish.

But when it came down to actually indulging irl? Only one out of the hundreds he reported chatting with took up his offer.

Good sir. There was once upon a time an ENTIRE WEBSITE dedicated to weird body modification shit. BME Zine. It featured people worldwide. In the 1990s. Of COURSE in the Year of Our Lord 2026 there is an entire Reddit community with this stuff on it. And again, it is world-wide. I would not, however, say that it is popular. It is one of the rarer modifications out there for obvious reasons.

I like this video and recommend people to take a look at it. It's fascinating. This sniveling piggish fuck is like a living parody of a Reddit mod. He actually states out loud he became a mod because he believed mods have power and influence.

Being a Reddit moderator for years is one thing, but to record a video of yourself standing in front of the camera for 20 whole minutes to whimper about wanting your job role back ("job" would imply being paid for it) after being kicked out is a whole new level of being a fucking loser.

Just got this on my YouTube recommended and was 100% convinced it was satire until I watched a few minutes.

tl;dr a middle-aged, balding, piglike, visibly autistic Reddit lead moderator of /r/LivestreamFails spends 20 minutes weeping that he was removed by the Reddit administrators for trying to create some kind of scam event as a pinned post on the subreddit. Demands Reddit reinstate him and immediately apologize because removing him is a grave mistake for Reddit as a business and community.
