Why do they do this? Choosing words to ask a question as if they're petitioning a court for something or writing an article, asking the president of their dad's company for a scholarship. This guy says he's from NL so English isn't his first language, but this one is too perfect an example and he doesn't seem to have a problem with the language structure and all it's not a lol foreigner cant English situation. He's doing this on purpose to be a redditor, even with the SO thrown in.

An American relative might come over to the Netherlands, for an extended period.

During this period he would like to keep practicing his shooting skills. For this primary purpose he would like to bring his personal weapon. He asked if he could store his pistol in my personal vault (where I store my own weapons), but I know the law is pretty strict here, not even my SO is allowed to open this vault, storing a 'foreign' weapon is a big no no.
This will mean that when he gets here, he'll have to figure out how to store the pistol because he might live in a rental without vault.

He also implied that maybe he'd want to sell the pistol here before going back to the states (or the next country).

So there are some questions, maybe you have some insights on these matters?

* traveling with firearms from the US to the Netherlands is obvious, paperwork and such. But what about storage when abroad? What if you want to travel to the Netherlands to compete in a local match? Can we contact my club and rent a vault?

* selling your personal weapon, registered in the US, to a Dutch person; is this even possible when neither is an official licensed dealer?

Please note, we want to do this strictly by the books, no strange deals; if there are ANY sketchy steps he'll leave his pistol on base.

Some of their questions they post, sometimes have a feel between-the-lines (when you get to the body of the post) making me think their posting goal is not so much communicating and gaining knowledge from likeminded people, more so "trigger the chuds" of the city who are just lurking the sub all the time I guess.

I don't get why reddit doesn't do something about this. if I was running a publicly traded company, I would at least vet my volunteer janitors. if I was a shareholder, I'd be worried about the optics and be demanding more AI moderation instead of these freaks. you don't get to do retarded shit when other people's money is involved.

I was wondering much the same. If I was a shareholder, heads would be rolling and this faggot would of been hit by at least one "C&D" by now. Nothing about this helps reddits already shitty reputation.

That's the point, though. He's SUCH an opportunist, with such a perfectly odious cover-your-ass excuse, at once lacking and drowning in self-awareness, that it feels suspicious. Like he's trying to do a bit.

I'm willing to believe this is real, but if it turns out to be some kind of bizarre performance art piece by a guy whose midlife crisis is to become a comedy gimmick streamer, I won't be surprised either.

Part of the reason why redditors seethe about Elon so much is that he’s basically the most successful redditor to ever exist and he used to be a darling child of the website until he turned on woke politics or whatever, much in the same way trannies a-log the fuck out of JK Rowling since they grew up in the Tumblr fandom for Harry Potter and can’t handle the author of said books being a “terrible human being”.

In order to be a reddit janny you need to be willing to spend 10-20 hours online jannying reddit for no compensation.

The percentage of people who aren't massively mentally ill or ideological lunatics who would accept that deal is essentially zero.

Anyone remember a few years back when some lunatic pitbull activist used to bot the front page? Seriously you'd see posts every week with 30k upvotes saying how cute pitbulls were, with all of 15 comments.

I use a stylesheet to block propaganda subs and I literally over 900 blocks now, since the botters know they need to continually bot up new subreddits as people get wise and block the old ones. Just today I see the following subs I've never heard of before, all echoing the same old lib shit:

athulvstheworld
StockLaunchers

With all these subs blocked I rarely get more than 30 links on the front page of 100, or in other words 2 out of every 3 posts on the reddit front page is paid DNC propaganda. I can't imagine what the unfiltered feed looks like; I'd rather use my real name and CC on a pirate horse porn site with no adblocker.
