I know this isn't an Andy Kaufman-esque character because I randomly started paying attention to this guy last year due to Destiny's thread. There have been multiple incidents like this where Stale2000 is blatantly power-tripping and trying to self-aggrandize being a reddit janny.... this is just the first time he's broken containment. The first time I heard about him was in September of 2024 when he talked to Destiny on stream about r/LivestreamFail (web archive)


Stale2000 / Bryan Wade has a long history of being a part of both Twitch and Destiny's community DGG. He previously worked at Twitch for four years on VODs and clips. In late 2021, he made a public video campaigning to be voted 'DGGER of the YEAR' - which, like his most recent ban appeal, feels almost beyond parody. Bryan was able to garner 324 votes (over 25%) though it doesn't seem like he secured any wins or even nominations.



In September 2024, an ex-moderator of r/LivestreamFail made a pinned thread on "r/LivestreamFails" (with an S) explaining why the subreddit had 180'd in recent years. It exposed that Bryan also owns the Reddit account u/Tarrot_Card. The story goes that after facing criticism from the community. a unanimous vote was held to demote Stale2000/Tarrot_Card for abusing his power. In response he took over the sub by adding power-mods to camp it and kicking out the core team. This forced the original mods to create a new offshoot. Their post included a much longer Google document, however Stale2000 had it falsely DMCA'd and removed.

In July 2025, a photo began circulating of Stale2000 (whilst still a LSF mod) with Destiny's friend Dan Saltman. This was used to show r/LivestreamFail had been compromised by DGG - though people also unsurprisingly made fun of his hair. Bryan started seething over this and eventually began illegally DMCA'ing photos of himself off Reddit. Here's a thread from one of the anti-H3H3 subreddits documenting this happening

EDIT: There was also this clip I remember from last year where Stale2000 calls a Destiny orbiter named Foodshops on stream to try and basically mold them into an industry plant. He promised that if they started making short-form summaries of drama, he'd promote it on LSF. Its thirteen minutes long but good insight as he openly explains his plan to manipulate the subreddit and astroturf hand-picked creators using his influence as moderator (posts discussing this here, and here)

Because they always do this. They always unintentionally make "the bad ppl" look cool as fuck. Like in Starship Troopers, like with that cartoon panel with Trump as Caesar and Lady Liberty having beaten Kamala in the coliseum. They think in a completely different way than the average person and don't understand what charisma is either.
